Sulfonated lignite (SMC) for drilling fluid is a derivative of lignite humic acid, synthesized from lignite under conditions such as sulfonation agent and appropriate temperature.

Nature and Use

This product is a black brown powder, which is a viscosity reducer and filter loss control agent for freshwater drilling fluid that can withstand high temperatures of 200 ℃ to 220 ℃. It is a cheap and efficient mud treatment agent.
