Main ingredients
High viscosity carboxymethyl cellulose used in drilling fluid is a mixture of refined cotton fibers, caustic soda, and alcohol that undergoes silk photochemical reaction in a kneading machine. After adding chloroacetic acid etherification, Na-CMC is generated, and appropriate additives are added. After kneading and processing in the kneading machine, instant Na-CMC is finally obtained.
Nature and Use
This product is a white or light yellow powder that is easy to absorb moisture, soluble in water, has a significant adhesive effect, strong salt resistance, and significant water loss reduction effect. Effectively increasing the viscosity of drilling fluid is beneficial for suspending rock cuttings, cleaning wellbore, greatly improving mud cake quality, effectively reducing filtration loss, and has strong salt and calcium resistance, making it suitable for preparing saltwater drilling and calcium treated drilling fluids.
